First Look: Nowhere To Go

Be amongst the first to see footage from Nowhere To Go, a documentary on Europe's broken asylum system and those caught up in it. Every ticket and donation goes directly towards finishing the film.

Clips from Nowhere To Go (sequences shot over four years across Poland, France and the UK) anchor a live discussion of what they reveal: how Europe's asylum system works in practice, and who it affects. It's a first look at the film in its final stages, prior to its planned cinema release in Spring 2027.

The panel brings together director Liz Smith, whose previous films include The Line We Crossed, The Conspiracists and I Am Gen Z; Rhetta Moran, a trustee of RAPAR*; and Kamuzu, who features in the film, with further guests to be announced. The afternoon will be introduced by Kate Hughes of Manchester Quakers.

Tickets are £10, and the money goes directly towards finishing Nowhere To Go and preparing it for cinemas. Everyone who books is offered a credit as a supporter of the film, though you're welcome to decline if you'd rather not be named. The long list of people who helped bring it to audiences carries a message of its own.
